Route Information

Distance: As long as you want to make it!

Time: 1 hour

Grade: Easy

There are a variety of places you can take your human’s to explore and enjoy.  Hill Head beach is just a short drive away from me and you can make the walk as short or long as you like! Mum and Dad looked bored, so off we popped one evening for a seaside stroll. Hill Head is a residential area with a shingle beach on the coast of the Solent. Get your human’s to park at Salterns Road car park, as the parking is free (just note that dogs are banned from the beach between May and September).  Make your own route…you can choose to scamper along the promenade, play in the grass area or just run along the beach like me!

Dad trained to throw stones in the sea for me to swim after!

I love the beach, running in and out of the sea and shaking my coat off.  I have to be careful not to get Mum and Dad wet, otherwise there is no chance of a treat later. If you want, you can chase seagulls off the beach or there is plenty of driftwood to play fetch with.

Stretch your sea legs!
